Hard back book of poems by John Nicholson, The Airedale Poet, with a sketch of his life and writings. The book is inscribed on the flyleaf cover in 1918 and there is a newspaper cutting from the Yorkshire Evening Post pasted onto the inside cover. The Death notices from the Bradford Telegraph and Argus from 3rd October 1934. Nicholson died in 1843 trying to cross the river Aire near Dixons Mill (which was later demolished and replaced by the 'New Mill' part of Saltaire's Salts Mill)
