• 2018.36.6: Princess Beatrice, and her husband Prince Henry of Batenburg planting a tree.

  Black and white tinted large framed photograph of Princess Beatrice, and her husband Prince Henry of Battenburg planting a tree. The tree planting may have been at either Milner Field or in what is now Roberts Park. The tree planting was part of the Royal visit to open the Royal Yorkshire Jubilee Exhibition in 1887 to celebrate the opening of the new School of Art and Science in Saltaire.

  Photograph of Royal Tree planting at Milner Field. The photograph shows the Prince of Wales (the future Edward VII) standing with a cigraette watching his wif Princess Alexandra planting a tree. A group of people on the right includes Titus Salt Junior, his wife Catherine and their children Harold, Lawrence and Isabel. Their fourth child Gordon can be seen at the extreme right but this is a later amendment to the photograph. Gordon was absent at Winchester School when the event occurred and he was later added to the photograph, replacing another person who was originally visible.

• 2024.56.6: Little Horton Lane

  Photograph of a large crowd of people completely filling a square on Little Horton Lane in Bradford on 4 May 1904 during a visit by the Prince and Princess of Wales. Bunting is hung at the sides of the streets. One building has a sign 'Appleton & Co.'. People are also visible in windows and on the roofs of buildings.

  Part of a full Davenport, decorated dinner service purchased by Catherine and Titus Salt Junior. They were probably used for dinner parties, but were definitely used for the Royal Visits in 1882 for the visit of Prince and Princess of Wales.

• 2024.99.6: Arrival of Iwakura MIssion at Saltaire

  A photocopy of pages 79 and 80 from 'Saltaire and its founder, Sir Titus Salt, Bart' by Abraham Holroyd published 1873. The pages detail the arrival of Japanese Ambassadors and Suite of the Iwakura MIssion at Saltaire on 25th October 1872. Also included is a handwritten envelope asking whether Nakki could find anything about this visit from the Japanese side.

  Signed photograph of Princess Beatrice dressed in a fur-trimmed coat over an embroidered dress with a train. She is stood with one glove off lent on a chair. This was given to the Salt Family during the royal visit.
