2016.2.14: Piece of black lace netting Semi-circular piece of black lace netting. Both side edge hemmed. Tope edge raw/unfinished. Border to lower edge. Bottom edge border heavily decorated with large and small flowers and leaves. Appears to have been removed from an item of clothing. -

The photograph is of everyone attending the street party sitting at their tables and chairs. One girl to the right seems to have borrowed her fathers coat but is still wearing a party hat, she is standing by a pram with a child sitting up in it. Behind her are people standing in a doorway.

2016.2.49: Strips of heavily beaded cream netting 2 strips of netting decorated with 7 repeated feather and scallop designs. 2 types of beads are used in the design, 2mm flat beads and 4mm round lustre pearl beads. Between the 7 main designs on each piece there is a small circular embellishment of small flat beads around 1 pearl bead. Most of the central pearl beads are missing. Scalloped edge of both pieces are knotted and frayed. Appears to have been crudely cut from a garment. -
2019.46.19: Two crests Black and white photograph 15.2cmx10.8cm of two crests. One circular with S overlaying M in the centre and surrounded by leaves and flowers. The second showing a shield with a diagonal white cross and rose in the centre, topped by a helment ad a bird. Leaf decoration runs down the sides of this crest. Four holes have been punched along the bottom of the print. The printed image on the paper is 10cmx9.6cm -

Mr Stephenson asked about the steps again. Mr Badland mentioned Mr Moorby being park gardener, but Moorby refused. Mr Badland will give tender for park.

She looks after family and old father - husband killed in war. When Hirst Wood Estate passes to Shipley Council John will have to pass over all plans.

2024.35: Small section of lead gas piping for lighting A small section of lead piping used for the supply of gas in a house in Saltaire. Pipe was found during redecoration of a first-floor rear bedroom in the 2020s. The lower end of the pipe was embedded in original lime plaster and connected to what may have been a wall mounting for a gas mantle. The lack of disturbance to the plasterwork, where the pipe joined the wall, suggests that the pipe was installed during construction of the house. This section of pipe provides direct evidence to corroborate contemporary newspaper reports that gas lighting was provided in Saltaire housing at the time of construction. -
2018.3.24: Cheques bookCheque book with a plain cover numbered 4684/4713 containing unused cheques for The Bradford Bank Company Limited Bradford. There are also 5 loose blank cheques, which all appear to have been taken from this book. The cheques are headed Milner Field with the Salts crest to the left of the check. The book is in the name of Titus Salt Junior. As Titus Salt Junior died in 1887 and this book has never been used by him, its likely that it was issued to him in the 1880's just before he died.

2018.36.6: Princess Beatrice, and her husband Prince Henry of Batenburg planting a tree.Black and white tinted large framed photograph of Princess Beatrice, and her husband Prince Henry of Battenburg planting a tree. The tree planting may have been at either Milner Field or in what is now Roberts Park. The tree planting was part of the Royal visit to open the Royal Yorkshire Jubilee Exhibition in 1887 to celebrate the opening of the new School of Art and Science in Saltaire.

The types of land (arable, pasture and tennis grounds) have been written on the map in red. Midgley Farm was part of the Robert's Estate and is detailed in H2-001 (Baildon and Shipley Rent Book) and aspects of the management of the farms in the Robert estate are described in the baker letters.
