William Beanland was born in Bradford 1822 and became one of the founders of the building firm J & W Beanland, based in Bradford. The firm went on to build part of Salts Mill, Bradford Wool Exchange, Bradford Post Office at Forster Square and the Swan Arcade Bradford among others.
