It was built as the home of Edward Salt, the third son of Sir Titus, who was a director of Sir Titus Salt Bart. Sons and Company Limited. The house was demolished and is now mainly a recreational area. -

2023.2: The life and work of Mohammed Aziz 1929- A personal history given by Aziz of his migrating to the United Kingdom to work in the textile industry. Aziz worked at Salts Mill in the 1980s during its last few years before closure. Aziz gave this account of his life to Saltaire Collection volunteer Maggie Smith.
