  Recounts the interest of Sir Titus Salt and some of his sons in agriculture and farming. Includes Sir TItus's continuing interest in this area; his fourth son Herbert who became a gentleman farmer rather than going into the textile business; and TItus Salt Junior's establshment of a 'model farm' next to his grand new house at Milner Field.

  New Lanark was founded in 1785 as the site of a new cotton mill and housing for its workers. Under the later progressie ownership of Robert Owen the site became famous. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site

  Stromness is the second largest town in the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland. The first lifeboat station in the Orkneys was opened here in 1867. Sir Titus Salt gave money for the purchase of a 33 foot (10 metre), 10-oared wooden lifeboat.

• Albert Road School buildings, Saltaire, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom

  As the population of Saltaire grew, the Factory School on Victoria Road (today the Salt Building) became inadequate for the number of children requiring an education. The Salt family provided land on the Western side of Albert Road for the building of a new school for primary education.The local school board opened the Albert Road Board Schools in 1878 to cater for 815 younger children. The original Factory School on Victoria Road remained in use as the High School. The building is still in use and today hosts Saltaire Primary School.

• 2023.2: The life and work of Mohammed Aziz 1929-

  A personal history given by Aziz of his migrating to the United Kingdom to work in the textile industry. Aziz worked at Salts Mill in the 1980s during its last few years before closure. Aziz gave this account of his life to Saltaire Collection volunteer Maggie Smith.

  A history of Sir Titus Salt and Saltaire by W.E. Alderson. Contains a large number of historical black and white photographs and more modern colour photographs. It was riginally a compilation of facts and photographs by the author and was not intended for publication. It was published in memoriam after the author's unexpected death.

  A large format book on the history of medical provision in the Bradford area since the late eighteenth century. Contains many illustraions including images of doctor's books, posters and photographs. Includes mention of SIr Titus Salt's financial support for Bradford Infirmary.

  Small book for the use of the council showing when meetings were to be held, the various wards of Bradford, street names, schools, parks, churches etc.

  Lists the mayors and concillors since 1847. Gives details of markets, fire brigade, libraries etc. and their organisations. ALso includes Bradford's politcal wards, streets etc.
