The British Wool Board bought 60% of Illingworth Morris and created the second company Woolcombers of which Hanson took leadership. Justification of the deal from the British Wool Board was to strengthen the British wool market.

D2-056: Cycling medal A metal medal awarded by Saltaire Cycling Club to Reuben Jagger for participation in a Saltaire to Morecambe road race. Engraved writing on the reverse states 'Club handicap. Saltaire to Morecambe. May 19th 1894. Reuben Jagger. 3rd Fastest time'. There is a further engraved writing of 'Fattorini & Sons, Bradford' - the makers of the medal. -
