• 2018.61: Titus of Salts

  A book about the history of the Titus Salt's company and the development of Saltaire village. It includes photographs and contemporary drawings of the village.

  A collection of over 200 photographs and drawings of Saltaire village, including descriptions and historical contexts. The photographs are created from before the village's creation (1850) to the end of World War Two (1945).
• 2018.72: Lost Houses of the West Riding

  A book about the impressive architecture that no longer exists in the old West Riding of Yorkshire (an area now largely contained within West Yorkshire).
• 2022.19: Yorkshire: Pictorial memories

  A book of black and white photographs from the commercial archive of Francis Frith and Company. Frith establshed a business in th 1860s to photograph every town and village in Britain and provide them for the public to buy. The book includes views of many places across Yorkshire. It includes two photographs of Saltaire on page 28: the railway station with a train arriving and Salts Mill visible in the background; Saltaire (later Roberts) Park along the promenade with the bandstand visible and two women with a pram in the foreground.

These are grouped into four chapters: Health, Beauty, Miscellaneous, Pleasure. There is a brief forward by James Laver. The title page states that 'Compiled in collaboration wth Ilonka van Amstel from the collections of Mr Roland Knaster and the British Museum'.

  An autobiography of Olive Shapley in association with Christina Hart. Book has a forward by Barbara Castle. Olive was a pioneering broadcasting journalist in radio and television. She was married to John Salt the great grandson of Sir Titus Salt

The book contains local facts, stories, quiz questions, recipes and photographs sourced by the Francis Frith Collection. Includes information on Sir Titus Salt, Salt's Mill and the Saltaire Club and Institute.

  A collection of essays about local history in the Bradford district. Includes a chapter by Clive Woods entitled Saltaire - vision to vision. Contains many black and white photographs.

  'Old Milner Field' A history of the old house published in 1877. This house was demolished around 1870 to make way for a new Victorian Gothic mansion built for husband and wife Titus Salt Junior and Catherine Salt.
