Minutes of the inuaugural meeting of 'Saltaire Learning' 11 June 2010. Saltaire Learning was a group of interested parties from Saltaire and the wider Bradford area and from City of Bradford Metroplitan District Council brought together to act on the recommendations of a report on the educational potential of Saltaire (see 2018.60.1).
The minutes deal with the establishment of the group, its operation, and an outline of the initial work on the educational potential ideas.

Outline of 5 scenarios for implementing the recommendations of a report on the educational potential of Saltaire (see 2018.60.1), produced by 'Saltaire Learning'. The scenarios are:
1. Working with college students at Shipley College
2. Joint partnership working on the theme of TItus Salt and his entrepreneurial vision
3. Develop partnerhsip work with linking schools to support work with UNESCO shared themes
4. Telling decision maker about the good work taking place at Saltaire
5. Joint partnership work on web based resources/information for teachers
Biography of Sir Titus Salt written by his friend and associate Reverend Robert Balgarnie who was Minister of South Cliff Church, Scarborough. The book has 20 chapters and includes 4 illustrations, including one of Crow's Nest Lightcliffe and of the Manor House in Morley where Sir Titus was born.
