- A photocopy of a newspaper article from the Bradford Daily Telegraph describing a suffragette meeting on Shipley Glen on Sunday 31 May 1908. The leading activist Emmelinbe Pankhurst, (Honorary Secretary of the Women's Soical and Political Union) addressed a large crowd. Mary Gawthorpe, Nellie Kenny, Adela Pankhurst and "Mrs Baines and others" also spoke. Large number of police were present to keep order, from what is reported as being a rowdy crowd.
