- Photograph of students in the College gardens (now the Silver Building and greenhouses) where the students learned horticulture. The images shows the students working on separate laid out beds, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables. The greenhouse that ran the length of the garden parallel to Caroline Street. During the preparation for building this greenhouse in 1967 (circa) a Chinese sculpture was discovered (now part of the Collection) it is believed this was part of the Japanese village that was an exhibit in the Royal Yorkshire Jubilee Exhibition in 1887.
