- Photograph of a room of carding machines. A smaller machine is to the left of the photograph with rollers. A basket of fleece is to the right with a lamp hanging above it. The photograph has been retouched by WH Sharpe Ltd and is dated August 23rd 1919 and is mounted on board. On the back of the board is 'one of the carding rooms' and ' carding machinery ' written in red.
